i just downloaded and installed .419 and now i want to upgrade to .591 or the .664 hybrid. problem is that someone said i need to load it over .419, what does that mean and how do you do it?

Can any one help me I am having problems with my Black Berry Storm 9550. My Gmail Email Icon, Black Berry Icon they're gone and I cannot log in to my Internet. I do have the Browser Icon. I call T-Mobile and they told me some BS about cause is not a T-Mobile Black Berry Phone they cannot send me the Books to get me Internet back. Also The EDGE is not in upper CASE. Can anyone help me?

alright so first im apologizing for the thread jack.... wouldnt let me start a new thread. so my screen died and it turns out most of the numbers i have added are on the phone, not the sim card. i can still access the phone using my comp but i cant figure out how to copy my phone book. any help would be much appriciated

so i'm a newbie posting another of those threads... sorry
its because i didn't think i find the right solution...even because i'm not a geek at all,
and also i don't care if the mobile stays like this(black screen), i just wanted to save the photos and videos that are on the phone, the phone is still in warranty
and my phone wasn't beeng updated, or anything i just got the phone to see the time and it was black... did a batery pull, and black screen stayd on
but i'll have a proper look in all of this info, i'll try it

and i'll have my fingers crossed that something will work... but please is there anything that i'll do that won't delete my fotos and videos???

well, there is, but it ended up with me loosing my pic, and videos....

but i'm happy to say that i have recovered it, through an old half broken laptop, with windows xp on it

FANTASTIC! WELL DONE GUYS. a combination of the use of bbsak and the os i download from the link provided just sorted it out one time.
All I did with my 8900 was that after downloading the os and installed it on my computer, I connected the phone to bbsak with the usb cable and then selected load os. it then came up with the step by step guide that told me it was gonna load os 5.0 and i selected next and it did the rest. Now it is fully working. thank you guys
