Or if anyone knows what i did wrong let me know. ( i used Tunebite to remove DRM and convert to MP4
I have yet to work on perfecting the conversion.

i recommend converting the video using the all purpose encoder, and than sending that DRM free output file to SUPER and it will make it look good on the storm.

im sorry for this extra step + added inconvenience, Its just I cant find any video experts to help me create a "blackberry storm" custom conversion profile that works perfectly.

though you should know, that tunebite can (if we figure it out) remove the DRM and simultaneously convert for optimal settings on the storm creating 1 output file that is 'ready to go'

ya so now I would use SUPER to make the picture look great on the storm.

I wish someone would help me get perfected settings so tunebite could do it one step, but for now its not the end of the world.

I would get the $40 dollar program i think they call it platinum

If i recall the cheapest option doesnt do video and the most expensive option does more than what you need...

When I click start on tunebite, it starts to work, but then I get the pop up from Warner Bros asking me to put in the authorization code, and since I already used it on another PC, it won't let me use it here

this is normal and how it works. a white line will not appear in your output movie i promise, so dont get worried.

actually if you dont see a white line, its a good way to determine if something isnt working right

im assuming your talking about a blu ray digital copy?? perhaps the dark knight seeing as you said warner bros....

please clarify.

assuming you are talking about a digital copy,

your going to want to make sure that your digital copy plays correctly normally without using tunebite (basically double checking you downloaded right)

usually, you would submit the authorization code before downloading the movie so your issue is rather strange.

none the less,

email warner bros tell them some story and theyll re activate your authorization code, i had universal do this for me and they were very nice about it.

FYI for everyone that purchases music on iTunes. Apple just announced yesterday that they are doing away with DRM protected music for iTunes: iTunes going DRM free

Unfortunately for any music that you've purchased that is DRM protected, you'll have to pay .30 per song to download the updated DRM free versions. So if the cost of re-downloading (.30 each) exceeds the price of the program mentioned here, it might be worth buying this program otherwise, if it's under $40, then go with paying the fee through iTunes to convert them all.

There is also this program: MuvAudio - Free Your Audio From Its Limitations - Convert Audio Files Other Programs Can't | MuvEnum Software and it seems to only cost $18 for it.

You opened my eyes. I didn't know why the iTunes movies wouldn't play on the storm Which version of TuneBite do you recommend for someone strictly interested in converting movies? Is there anyplace one can get movies that will play on the Storm without requiring conversion? Thanks.

I believe they only offer 3 versions, and the cheapest version doesnt convert videos, only audio (I THINK)

so i would have to recommend the cheapest video conversion which is the platinum package for $40

as far acquiring storm formatted videos, I do not know of a place.

you can visit .::[Videos4BlackBerry]::. | and they have some FREE cool stuff, but it needs to be converted to look good on the storm.

unless you find videos specifically for the storm, they will need to be converted so they will look and play good on the storm.
