To wipe the phone go to options>security>general>wipe hand held. This will remove all your info. Unlocking is permanent. So your good there. Your cousin will have to reload the At&t service books though. When you take your SIM out and put his in, it will loose the the browser and these steps will need to be repeated.

If you are using an unlocked Verizon Storm and have "Activation Required" on your home screen or your phone number displays incorrectly, Dial # # 000000 (Send). In the Menu add your phone number and select save. The device will reboot and activate.

I am using an unlocked verizon storm and there is "activation required" on the home screen. I followed the above proceedure but it didnt work. Says "SOS". I am using FIDO sim on it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

SOS means you have no signal.

Can you load service books with crackutil? For some really weird reason I cannot load the service books with .109/.90 hybrid and DM so its not working.

No only DM can do that. Try rebooting the pc.

It will load service books on .90 it goes from 8 to 32, the number of the new service books. But with the hybrid OS it stays at 8, and my icons dont show up.

Sounds like the daemon module is still on the phone.

I removed it with crackutil. I am gonna load my .109 .90 hybrid again and try it. I will report back.

am running .109, and it will not load ATT service books. I therefore have no browser. Anyone with any ideas how to get a browser on a Storm using ATT and 4.7.0.109 ?
