I am following all the steps on the manual way to do this but for some reason when i get to the point to load the service books, they show up grayed out, so i can not load them on my phone.
I wonder if i dont have to do all this since i used the switch device on DM to swap from my ATT curve to the new unlocked storm.
I have the storm fully operational but flaky, i cannot get it to stay on EDGE (Data connection) constantly, it comes and goes and stays on edge most of the time (No data connection)

I've spent two days on this thing and I have almost everything working. Except, EDGE. I put the service books in, reboot, resent service books, battery pull...I'm about to pull out a rock and smash this thing...

I've spent the last few HOURS searching this and other forums for a fix, but everything I've read, I've done. Going from ATT to ATT 9530.

Please help and feel free to...well, you can't PIN, no EDGE....grrrr

Where can I find the gateway settings and what should they be? Sorry if this is dumb or redundant, but I've been at this a while now. Kinda punchy.

so does the EDGE(data on) have issues with the current OS .148? If so, that really sucks cuz I had just updated my OS to the latest one which is faster and smoother =\. Please say it isn't so..
