^^^What he said. If you are on T-mo, yes log into my.tmobile.com and set up your email, then choose send service books.

See that's the thing, it's a t-mobile agent line so it's under a different name not mine. T-mo customer care wont help me since i don't have the assigned user's last 4 of the ssn but it's weird coz when i signed up for the agent line they told me it would be under my name.. that didnt happen.

I have a 9530 that i unlocked to tmobile by code, it was originally verizon carrier. i followed the forum and got my mms/browser and other things working, however since the moment i unlocked the phone i keep losing a connection as if i went into manage connections and turned everything off. it says off in the top right corner next to the signal bar and my tmobile sign goes away. the only way to fix it is i have to power off and on and then turn the connection back on. i do have it set to 2g/3g gsm too. ohh and it varies from 30min to a couple hours before i lose the connection again even if i have full bars..can anyone help? thanks..

Set it to 2g only. Also what os are you running on the phone?

Uploaded the service books for tmobile and everything worked fine through the process on this link. About 15 minutes later the browser and all extra tmobile features were gone. Can someone explain what could have happened and how do i get that matter resolved.

i do have it on 2g now and it did the same thing just a while ago, also im running 4.7, where do i go to find out the operating system? i just saw this when i went to advanced options, applications

ohh i just found it under options/ about. it says v4.7.0.75 (platform4.0.0.94)

Hi,

I have the 9530 from Verizon unlocked by code. Upgraded to 4.7.0.90 OS, platform 4.0.0.114 the other day, did everything in the instruction got the EDGE for a day, the it went back to lower case edge. I was unable to use data service from Tmobile. Called Tmobile, they told they are not supporting the phone then suddenly yesterday EDGE come back, I was able to use it the whole day. Today, I lost it again, back to lower case edge with no data service.

I was told Pics MMS doesn't work. Is that true? anyway to work around it and get it to work?

Heres one for you pltaylor. I have had the storm working for tmobile for a while but didn't have the bb data plan. Everything worked including mms, but I had no internet data. Then I recently added the bb data plan and now when I go the the browser it only lets me browse the Tmobile wap site, I cant go to any other sites like CB or google. I tried redoing the steps but its still the same thing. Is there anything else that I need to do?

Go to options>advanced>browser. Set default browser to internet.

Hi PT I have the same problem,
I went to Browser and I choose in Default browser configurations: Internet Browser
Default MDS browser configuration: Internet Browser
But Default Wap browser confi "only T-zones"
When I try to go online:
I push the www button Google, Wikipedia and Dictionary are the options but there aren't button "to go" and the menu button don't works
Besides Error MNFE or Error 500 appear en downloads
I'm so confused
Please !! help me

I found the attatchment for the service books but cannot open them I dont understand what I am doing wrong. Is there a particular program I should be using

Kevin, slow down. Read the guide. Like it says, save them to your desktop. Right click on them and select "Extract All" Inside is one .ipd file. You don't open that, it is the service books you move to the Storm.

A, error 500 is a page fault error. Check the address. Try another page.

Thank you for your quick responses im sorry im an ***** i didnt realize it was already unzipped. Im running vista and am getting "file access denied" when trying to open crackutil. Then the program doesnt respond. Any ideas?

Hi all
I have a problem that was mentioned at the beginning of the thread but could not get any clear answer. I learned from reading here that when you unlock the phone, in the OPTIONS>ADVANCE OPTIONS>SIM CARD, all fields should read "disabled". in my phone the NETWORK field is "active". I believe that is preventing me from using the internet. I have the TM data plan. can anyone please help me!!!!!!!
