I have a Sprint unlocked blackberry tour to use on my T-mobile network. I put my tmobile sim card and right settings showing GSM and 2g. The phone dials out and receives sms but thats all. I have the data package on tmobile ....my other phone is a blackberry curve 8900. I can't get this phone to accept tmobile data, email set up or browser. i tried resending service books and i get the message saying service books sent, saying my handheld has been registered with the carrier.....the phone is functional but no browser or email set up icon...

and to add...the generic service books contain 17 records and the device says 6 records..when i transfer it says at 6...

yeah i want to know also. i know the 3g is different on every provider but there must be a a patch of program to make it work on another carrier.

ok so i got alot of stuff worked out by lurking the forums here but for the life of me i still cant get my mms/sms to work. i have the 9530 v.328(originally v.148 didnt work then either) unlocked with tmo... browser, phone, email, maps, and updates work. i have gone through host routing table sent message....... i went through sms text options and tried my number and 12063130004 any help is much appriciated

ok scratch that... i guess the texts are going out but i cant recieve. im assuming that at this point i have to call tmo?

Okay, I have t-mobile, I'm trying to enable pic messaging. I did this on my old bb storm and it worked just fine, but this new one I got is OS 5.0, is that going to affect me? When I open crackutil and leave the password blank it says file access denied. HELP!

how did you get the browser to work? im still having issues with that.

ive done all this and i cant make or recive calls and my edge isnt EDGE for some reason can some one help plzzzz

i also get some wierd sms message from a number like this +10476000000 and in the message it says n:m=1=1 anyone else get this
