Might sound like a stupid question, but when I put video/music onto my Micro SD card I don't see where it lets me choose a specific folder to drop it into. It just shows my Card and I drag and drop onto it.

I don't see specific folders until afterwards when I look on the device but not previously on the computer when dragging and dropping via USB.

Are you using the "Media Manager"? I don't use the Media Manager. Just go into My Computer and click on the BLACKBERRY2 drive and then put the video in Blackberry/videos.

ps. This is obviously describing how to do it on PC. If your on Mac you have lots of Blackberry troubles

When using Super C to ingest multiple VOB files, does anyone know how to output a single mp4? Most DVDs have multiple VOBs, and Super C outputs an mp4 per VOB. I'd like to have one mp4 for the entire movie.

Thanks!

So how do you get the DVD's on your computer in the first place? Do you download a movie from a website?

That's the only thing I've been trying to figure out, and I'm sure its simple. But since ripping a DVD onto your computer is illegal... how do you get the video on your computer to convert and put on your storm?

Okay not to Hijack this thread since we are talking about video playback. The Blackberry Bold supports Divx/Xvid playback. Has anyone tried playing a a Divx/Xvid video on the Storm??

Assume you own the DVD... it's arguable that fair use applies and you can make digital backups of your own DVDs.

I'm not going to tell you how to do it, as it may violate this boards TOS, but you should go to forums like afterdawn; they have multiple guides on how to legally make digital backups.

I've tried. Couldn't get a divx avi file to play on my Storm using the built-in player. Perhaps there will be a future 3rd party program. For now, I'm converting using the OP's Super guide and will try the results.

So I tried converting the dark knight using OP's guide, it turned out to be 1.06GB... Did I do anything wrong?

That should start the download of SUPERsetup.exe. I know it sounds real shady, and I agree the website is a total mess, but the program is real, and free and gets the job done.
You're right, the Web site is a mess! I don't know how you found your way to the download but NICE JOB!

Man, the Media Manager is converting an xvid file to mp4 and it's taking FOREVER. I have a quad core processor (yes, I know it won't use all of them), and 8 gigs of ram with 2 Velociraptors in Raid 0. You'd think I'd get some love with that muscle.

Super is pretty quick, uploading the video to the internet is taking forever. I'll post the link here when it finishes so you guys can check it out.
