What happened to Google maps and youtube?

I just got a replacement storm and when I try to download google maps for mobile orr youtube it says device not supported
Whats up am I missing something? Did verizon and the Droid lock me out?

Im gettin the same thing.. I know for google maps someone posted a link for older googlemaps software that you can download to your pc and put on your storm directly through DM. I have them, if you want to email me i can reply back with them for you.

But im still stuck with the youtube thing. I wiped my storm and reloaded with 5.0.328 and cant get the youtube app

google maps worked fine a couple days ago...youtube has been hosed for a bit now though.

Someone posted a link in 3rd Party Apps a while ago to a version of Google Maps that will download. At the time, it worked for me.

The YouTube app from Google is installed and working on my phone.

I use opera mini 5 and have Youtube set as one of my thumbnails. It takes you to native browser to view video but who cares. I also used to have CNN and the NFL shortcuts but deleted them cause the thumbnails on opera are faster as well. I will add I leave opera mini open all day so I don't see load screen but my Storm handles apps running in background

P.S. College humor streams fine as well

You don't need the app for youtube. Google maps I've never had problem with. Just trying to help. Sorry!
