| |  Use of the > symbol in relation to OS builds in signatures
ok, I just want to point out that when people say things like ".328 > .419 > .451" it looks like they are saying that build ".328 is greater than .419 is greater than .451"
but clearly, they are saying "I went from .328 to .419 to .451"
In what should be such a sophisticated and intelligent community, this kind of ridiculously ambiguous shorthand is beyond regular stupidity. It's a special kind of stupidity: the kind that permeates corporations and turns ordinarily very intelligent people into walking dispensers of buzz phrases as semantically bankrupt as the ever-popular 'it is what it is'.
Please, people, try to apply some critical thinking to what you put in your signatures.

I'm sorry, but since I first saw people doing the >>>>thing in their sigs I never once thought "hey that means greater than" it made perfectly good sense that it meant a sequence. I don't see a point in this thread.
