| | Time to ditch my Storm, which phone should I get?
Not sure if this is the right board, but Verizon said I can get a new phone this weekend. I'm trying to decide between an HTC Incredible, Droid 2, and the new Samsung Fascinate. Which one do you think is better?

If you like the touch screen concept, go with the Torch. I went from the S2 the Torch. Had issues with the phone and decided I didnt like it so I went with the 9700. 9780 is coming out soon so you will still have OS 6, but no touch screen. I love the 9700. Great phone.

Love my Desire for browsing and the customization but love my Blackberry for my email and bbm. | Other issue withe the Droids is they are limited to (2) bands. Can't ake it overseas and use it, which is a big issue for me. The only thing that kept me from getting it.
You can side-by-side compare phones and features on phonescoop.com

What do the 9700 & Torch have to do with "HTC Incredible, Droid 2, and the new Samsung Fascinate"? VZW has the Torch and 9700 now?

If you are looking for advise on which Android phone to get you may want to post the question in Android Central forum or the Android section in this forum. Just makes more sense to me.

As a former storm owner, just started using a droid x, and unless you need international phone call support, one of the the many new droid phones (incredible, x, 2) are just what the dr. ordered. I'm not trying to flame at all, just stating my opinion.

Thanks for the answers. I'm just going to decide when I get to the Verizon Store but I'm leaning towards an Incredible. The BB Torch does look nice, but after the Storm it's going to take a lot to get me to buy another RIM product (not to mention I'm on Verizon). Thanks again.

Size wise, the Droid X is the bomb... My son has his and loves it. Personally, I have the Incredible, and 2.2 froyo and root, I don't think I'll long for another phone for the whole 2 year contract.

Definitely check out Android Central to see what the vibe is on whatever phone you are interested in. The Fascinate forums read JUST LIKE the Storm forums back in the day. There are plenty "I am on my 2,3,4 phone" and "Well mine works fine I don't think there is any problem". It's really comforting knowing if I upgrade to a Fascinate that I don't have to give up the touching repartee I have gotten used to here on the storm forum.

That's the first question one my ask themselves is what do you want in a phone OR what you plan to do. When my buddy recently asked me what phone he should upgrade to, the first thing I asked was what do you want it to do? He didn't have an answer and all he could say was "I heard Droid X was the best". I'm the type get "the best of the best and latest and greatest" given that it does what I need it to do. I'm on my first Storm 1 since Dec 08 and I use it religiously and running well over 20 apps. Sure it lags and the app mem is a pain but 85% of the time, this phone does what I need it to do. Between emails, messaging, tethering, time mgt (from the calendar), I really don't need anything else. I even have the Tilt N Jump game that I play to kill a few minutes here and there, etc. YES, it needs to be faster and I shouldn't have to worry bout app memory and YES my S1 annoys me every now and then but until I can find a phone that can suits my needs to a T like my BB does, I won't be upgrading just yet.
My boss just recently got an EVO and can't sync his work email. He asked if I have work email linked to my phone and what phone I have and I was like Yep, BB. He responded 'nuff said.
You hear many people say if you want a toy, get an iPhone or Android, you want to work and manage your life, get a BB. I totally agree.
