Text messages sent through e-mail

Hello all. Last week took my storm into Verizon because it was messed up again and they gave me my 3rd phone since Feburary. This new storm (not the storm 2, but the first one with the latest software) is AWESOME! I've loved loved loved it!! BUT, now if I send a text message to someone not on verizon (like ATT), it goes through vtext.com and is sent to that persons e-mail address. And I hate it! I had to go and change my login so people would know who the e-mail was coming from (mine doesn't show up as my phone number@vtext.com, it shows up as my login@vtext.com). And the recipent doesn't get the messages until much later! I sent a text for a reason! How can I stop it, please help! I just want to send a text THROUGH text, not e-mail!!! Thanks!

This happens if you use the text message option, not the email option? Are you sure you are not using the email option and have that vtext account set up as your default email service (for some reason)?
