I don't think the 9860 is for me. I've had an iPhone 3g for more than a year now. There's no service on it now because it was with AT&T and it's just too expensive. I don't really need a smart phone at the moment. I'm unemployed and I've already gone through all of my savings so I can't afford one right now.
The main reason I want a Blackberry is for the nostalgia. When I think of a Blackberry, I think of the Bold and Curve form factors. | I completely understand, cost is a big factor. That was the only reason I initially didn't get the iphone. If you still want a BB bold or curve for a data-less phone, and have some money, try checking used sites where people are selling their older phones for cheap.
I'm stuck with my Storm until my contract is over because their upgrade/contract cancellation fees are too much.
I hope all works out well for you though!
