IT IS TRUE THE STORM IS A FLOP WAIT TO GO RIM!!! - 01-14-2009, 12:06 PM #3
A very large percentage of Storm owners would disagree with you.

Really?
To each his own. - 01-14-2009, 12:10 PM #6
I wouldn't say worst, I'd say definitely flawed. Think shoudve spent more time in development. But then again there are a lot of Storm owners who've had no problems.

Indeed the Storm is the worst product to ever come to RIM. Poor build and all around piece of shiat.

forget about the storm....your moms performance last night wasn't laggy at all and she definitely knows how to flop!

disclaimer: pointless, useless, no content rant threads aren't entertaining enough for me. the mods don't seem to care about threads that are intentionally made as flame bait, so from now on i will respond to all such threads with mom jokes. no offense intended.

none one will argue that the device can use a few software update but the device is far from being the worst phone that ever existed. Now if you want to talk motoq, I wouldl have throwned that phone to a bottomless pit if I had the chance.

OK, first off, I disagree with you completely on this and I normally just let these rants roll off my chiseled shoulders. However, this awful, awful grammar has simply GOT TO STOP (the "Wait to go..." as the final straw)!
Your statement should read (corrections in bold)...
The verdict is out; return them while you can! Laggy performance, broken screens, and a crashing operating system. Better switch to AT&T and get the Bold while you can!

I'm sure he did in depth research himself (or herself) before coming to that conclusion. Research such as obtaining a device for themself and testing it for a few weeks. I'm SURE the OP did that instead of basing his judgments on what he read on the forums. It's not like it's known that people are more likely to post negative threads instead of positive ones. Probably because when they do post a positive ones people like the OP flame it down because only their opinion is the right one.
No, the OP would NEVER do that right? Because he's smart, considerate, and thorough in his research. Oh and by the way, learn to spell you *****. Also, punctuation is free, you don't have to pay for it so go ahead, use it =)RE: Leaked Storm OS's:
"These are NOT official releases. In IT you set milestones in projects. Milestones have certain updates. Once the milestones are met, a new OS build number is given and then it's tested. If they find more issues they report it for the next milestone. That is why whenever an OS is LEAKED (keyword here), they tell you to install at your own risk. Once they feel comfortable enough to put their name on it then they'll officially release it." - 01-14-2009, 12:52 PM #22
It interesting the passion created by this phone! Some folks hate it some love it, but very few are in the middle. It DOES have it issues, but I love my Storm!

YES! "WAIT" TO GO, RIM!
I, personally, strongly disagree with the OP. It's true, the Storm's the first touchscreen for RIM (which may or may not account for the buggy OS, it probably does, though), but I am completely satisfied with my phone and don't think I'd trade it in for any other. - 01-14-2009, 01:16 PM #25RE: Leaked Storm OS's:
