I'm not the liberal police, I'm someone who lost a family member to suicide 2 years ago and it's not something to be tossed around about a worthless piece of electronics. Grow up, little man.

Chill dude. It's the inter-webs. Besides, pity for suicide is just a little redundant, big man. Seeing how they made the decision and all. If the meer suggestion of suicide leads to actual suicide, it seems to me that a wise decision has been made. Wanna tissue?

How about addressing the issues on their merits? my assertion is that from a techical perspective, RIM and Verizon both damaged their reputations by releasing a device that failed to concentrate on the things that made them great. The Storm is not a good phone or PDA.

Damaged their reputations? The iPhone was not good at all during its first few months, but now people who have not even owned an iPhone believe it is some god-like creation. Give the Storm time. I will post the flaws in your argument tomorrow

all mine does is a random hard restart once in awhile. i can live with the rest of it. i love my storm and all that it can do for me when i am not near a computer. and as for an OS ugrade i can wait for it.

I totally agree. I'm a BB guru and have been one for years. Got my storm a few days again and can't stand it! It's garbage! I'm putting it up on ebay or craigs.

Yes, I have properly upgraded my phone...it still sucks compared to earlier RIM devices. I've wiped it and performed clean upgrades, I've upgraded existing OS.

Didn't realize that that the Storm community was so sensitve.

In other news...the Storm sucks. End of story. Your (Denis) points are valid and our ITS system has banned Storm use. We are using the Bold. WAY too much energy in the use of that 'thing' (Storm). I however, got a personal one for Christmas that I'm now stuck with. I'm waiting on my 3rd phone. The others were so 'done' that Verizon didn't even bother figuring it out. They saw the phone in my hand and threw it in a box to ship back to the manufacturer. Ordered me a new one on the spot.

And for all of you abusers that won't let a person get one word in, go play in traffic. That's just as fun as 'playing' with the Storm (or you can go over to Facebook and harass the whiners that are pissed about the new layout that launched yesterday).
