Storm 9530 freezing!... Help!

it seems that there are MANY posts around the internet about the Storm freezing up. I have not seen any answers except that it may be an app causing it. I have removed most of the apps and they aren't the issue. I thought memory might be the culprit. This doesn't appear to be the case, either.
My issues appear to happen when I am unlocking my screen. When I pull the device out of my pocket and unlock, I find a frozen screen. I can turn it and sometimes that releases it. I can wait about 5-10 minutes and sometimes that releases it.
Sometimes I can press an icon and another one will light up.
I give up and pull the battery about 3-4 times a day.
Very frustrating. Any answers?
By the way, when I take it to Verizon to complain, it ALWAYS works perfect!! Urgh!!

Sounds like the way mine was acting (well, my 3rd one) before it completely died.

Same thing has happened to my Blackberry. I thought it was my battery and I replaced it. I usually have to take my battery out 3-4 times a day to reset.

good!!! so its not just me. i have mine unlocked on at&t but if you're on verizon then that has nothing to do with it. i installed quickpull so i dont have to keep pulling the battery out but that only helps when i can actually click on an icon.. i'm guessing nobody figured out what the problem is or how 2 solve it yet
