Default so happy now

Finally got rid of my storm and got a Droid. I can't believe the difference. No more do I have to worry about battery pulls crappy Apps and slow internet. RIM has a lot of catching up to do.

Glad you saw the light.

Enjoy your new phone.

It's nice to actually have a phone that works correctly without having to load some Frankenstein OS on it that still dodesn't fix the most glaring problems with BB OS because it is simply old and archaic.

Yeah, the droid's are nice and snappy! Let's hope RIM gets in gear and does a complete re-vamp of their current OS.

I can't believe I kept the storm so long. There is no way I will ever go back to blackberry unless they do some tremendous to improve their ancient software. Android is so much better.

well actually you should try and do a battery pull at least once a week to keep your device quick and sharp or you will be forced to do one eventually as the device can get bogged down, your not entirely free of those. frequent battery pulls though like on the Storm not even close.

Droid has only one thing that makes it special. It has a one of a kind voice search/navigation app. Thats it. Otherwise, it has miniscule buttons and scrolls poorly. It has an average webkit that is about par with WebOs and winmo Opera Mobile. The UI is nothing exciting, just works just as BB OS does today.

Are you talking the Droid in general or Android over all?

I find open source a pretty big deal.

My droid scrolls 10 times better than my storm ever did and the browser completely blows bb out of the water.
