| | oops... read it and weep trolls. RIM up for 4Q
First page of wall street journal.... Sales up 35% for the fourth quarter, earnings up 37%.
All this during a bad economic period. Hmmmm.... Gee..... Now what was this I was hearing about RIM "dwindling away" , going bankrupt and "the way of the palm" ?

What is the point of this? Do you work for RIM or something? You've beaten your BB loyalty into something Ike Turner would be proud of. And now I've "trolled" your latest anti troll thread! Hurry and "flame" me back to my level of nerdishness.

Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com | Actually I don't have to say a thing. You did more harm to yourself than I ever could.

And no, phillyphreak, he doesn't have any stock in RIM.
Here's my thoughts on it: do you have a friend who chronically can't get a girl? Someone who is so socially awkward that they've never had a girlfriend of any sort, and never will? We call these people "Nomosexuals".
After years of asexuality, a person like this feels like they don't own anything, like they don't have a "team". So they look elsewhere; they'll like their sports team a little too much, screaming and freaking out when they win or literally crying when they lose. Or they'll get a little too into one political party, turning everything into a horrible one-sided political debate when the situation doesn't call for it.
In this guys case, he's decided he's going to be on "Team BlackBerry Storm 9530", because he doesn't have any other sort of identity.
So whenever you talk trash on the storm, he thinks you're attacking his identity. When you say "man the storm sucks @$$", he reads "man kb5zt sucks @$$".

I don't know about the specific example you gave Drew, since I don't know the OP, but I know it applies to all the iFanboys LOL

And don't get me wrong, I do not think everyone feels this way about their Storm. Some people just like something they can tinker with and change the software and the storm fits the bill.
An then there are others that go insane and start frothing at the mouth whenever you badmouth their cell phone. Its really weird.

First rim will continue to be supported by the business community which give them huge numbers...the os platform is stable enough for the 30-60 somethings that love the pushed email and want to make a phone call.
Anyone who wants a little bit more are seeking out other devices. The droid is putting android on the map and if the iphone ever hits another vendor rim will certainly be in trouble.
However if rim can get os 6.0 to be more fluid and the new webkit browser to be faster they can stay in the game.
I am personally going to a android phone this spring and will give rim a chance to catch up....I am looking for a faster browser and apps that do not cost a fortune....plus android seems to be a little more stable right now.

Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com | You really are disillusioned. This is one of he calmest threads I've read in R&R's.
P.S. Someone who intended to "throw a Weenies to pack of junkyard dogs" has no business using the term "troll".

Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com | Ahhhh I see you caught on immediately.
Which is funnier, the fact that he said its a calm thread an I had issues (in the same post where he said I suck *whatever*), or the fact that I was countering the troll tribe with actual facts and data regarding RIM's balance sheet and this gentleman had to jump in and attack me?
some people think they are winning the race when the truth is they are so far behind that the leaders are simply catching to and lapping them.
Now that is an accurate analogy of "disillusioned".

Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com | No nomosexual here, but I know one when I see one. A lot of these self-proclaimed movie buffs are closet nomosexuals. If you ever see someone get super angry at someone else because they like the Twilight movies or Saw franchise, you're dealing with a flaming nomosexual.

Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com | 1) of your 30+ posts, this is the first one that you actually gave some sort of source to, to which I have you kudos.
2) if you think I said you "suck @$$" then you're only reinforcing my point.
3) what are you talking about being ahead of anyone? Because you have a storm? Seriously?
4) I've stated several times that RIM isn't going anywhere, so we're in agreement on that fact.
5) I've never said that someone shouldn't like their storm, just that I can't stand mine, and my nexus one is much better.
