Need device upgrade advice

I posted in the BB 8530 forum, but thought I'd try here, too: I just upgraded from my (3rd) Pearl to a Curve 8530 and am out of patience. I just don't like this device. I hate the qwerty keyboard and it's little buttons that are hard to manage, the sticky and over-responsive trackpad, the inability to get a "new message" only LED alert, the limited texting space, etc. There are some things I DO like, compared to my little Pearls (which were a good fit for my small hands): the faster browser (but it doesn't always connect w/links in messages...)

I mention all of this so that a crackberry aficionado can make a great recommendation. BTW, I had to live 2 days w/o a BB while waiting for the new device to arrive ... it was ****.
