dont turn it on if its off, i guess thats all you can do until its dry and then try and see if it still works.. other than that i dont know sorry, but on another note maybe investing in a holster should be your next step

First of all, You should glue that thing to your hand and all your problems will be fixed.

But anyway, I have had a couple phones go through washing machine. What I have done is take the battery out and set the phone near one of those mini heaters to dry out. (not to close though, you don't need a melted and water damaged phone) I leave it there for at least 24 hours.

I have also heard that you can put in a bowl of rice for a day or so, never tried it but it seems like that would work.

Good luck and I hope you get it working.

id try the bag of rice idea before putting the phone near a heat source. not sure what its like in your areas but around here a lot of people put rice in their salt shakers to keep the salt from clumping due to extreme humidity. stands to reason that the rice would pull the moisture away from the phone too.
btw.....
try not to boil the rice first.

Not only that but I no longer own any BlackBerry devices at all. Maybe in the future if RIM steps up their game I'll consider owning one again, but as it is right now, they just aren't competitive in the user market, and they never really have been. Theyre good at what they do, which is push E-mail but that's about it. Time will tell.

+1, great advise with the rice, it absorbs almost all moisture, just be sure not to turn it on until you are absolutley certain it is dry. And do not put it in an oven, that would be bad.
