Default My one major gripe about SureType

I can't stand the size of the space button it's way too small. In almost every device including thenstorm full keyboards the space button is at lest twice the size of most other keys. In the SurePress keyboard it's the same size. It's the number one source of typos for me. In this very post 3 of the 4 typos where due to not hitting the space button

I'm wondering am I the only one who finds the space button on surepress too small?

So you're saying every button on the SureType keyboard is too small? Because they're all the same size. You might as well have said the QW button is too small.

Yes, I understood that but if you look at the buttons on SureType, they're all exactly the same size. The spacebar should give you no less typos than any other key on that keyboard.

I don't know if this is a habbit formed from years of typing where I'm just expecting the space bar to be bigger than the rest of the keys or if this is a physical issue. I do know this for sure, at least for me. The most uncomfortable positions for my thumb is on the bottom keys but most over the space. It's just uncomfortable moving the thumb down and away.

I suspect that the space bar is the key I notice more because of the high frequency of it's useage.

And to answer your original question. No I do not find the other keys to be too small. As a matter of fact I think SureType ROCKS because of the key size. I just wish the spacebar was bigger

True, it would be handy, but that whole row is useful stuff. Numbers, sym, shift and enter, none of them should be really 'shrunk' to make the space bigger, which sucks cause I imagine most people including me use that whole row quite a bit.

I dunno I just adjusted to it, or use full keyboard and have to retype every second word because of fat thumbs.

Oh and I know that sure type is not the most loved way of typing but I love it. I wayways use it. Once you set up your own custom words the way you type than its perfect!
