Default My good Verizon experience

So, in the middle of a text my touchscreen decided to stop working. It wasn't finding my thumb and it wouldn't click on what I was clicking. Knowing that this happens every so often, I did a battery pull thinking it would be no big deal. Well, not the case. So I called Verizon they had me do a wipe of the phone and when that didn't work they simply just shipped me another phone. Which, I'm extra excited for because I've accumulated quite a bit of dust under my screen. I was surprised because typically when I call in I get grilled and am forced to take the problem phone into a store. I had to call in twice and both representatives were very helpful. A+ for Verizon customer service today.

I wish I talked to your reps cause the ones I talked to today didn't know anything about the storm. One of them kept telling me that the screen doesn't click because the blackberry storm has no click feature since it was a touch screen phone. She went on to say that if the screen clicks that means the screen is loose and take it to the nearest Verizon store.

But I am glad you had a good experience.

Yeah that was the second person I talked to. The first one told me a master reset would fix the screen clicking in no time. Then after all of that we went to the Verizon store and all the did was but paper on top of the battery cause according to them "Crackberry told us to". I wasted two hours at the store for a small piece of paper when the phone should have been replaced because the store rep said it was fix!

On the bright side.... at least its my dad's Storm and not mine!

I had the screen on my second storm stop clicking last week. I called VZW and the guy I talked to told me that the click was controlled by the software. He went on to talk about algorithms and calibration. I think he just wanted to sound smart. I told him it works if I hold it like I'm trying to break it so he put a note on my acct and I went to the store and traded it in. I went through 10 refurb boxes to pick this phone out. Took me 2 days to make it feel like mine again.
