I have found that doing a security wipe, but not wiping the third party apps, can help to regain some boot-up ram. See sig for my article on it. Someone else on the boards did it and got back 5mb. Results will vary. I got back 12mb and have been booting there for a few weeks.

S1 has been and always will be bad for memory mngmt. Its not going to stop. Has been one of the biggest issues with this phone since its inception. Only real solution is to get a different phone. If you like the storm series go with a S2( i wouldnt ,still the same phone just with more mem and wifi). Other than that your just going to have to deal with all the mem problems that have existed and will continue to exist. Are there minor fixes and such to help regain some mem? Sure. But again theyre minor fixes. As i stated its not going to stop.

I really agree, I have like 3 apps on my phone and it's telling me my memory is low. I don't get it. I never had that problem with the curve.
