Just got my Blackberry Storm 9530

Hey guys i wanna get the most out of my phone...
Just got my New crackberry 9530 from zulloo.com for $79.99... I started reading the forums and i flashed with latest firmware....so far i like the phone...any pointers??

For faster typing get used to the reduced keyboard in portrait mode. Make sure you close apps, don't just hit the escape key. Use opera mini for web browsing the native one is painfully slow (you can also try bolt browser). Use quickpull app and set it to run daily before you wake up. Read the forums here and beware there is a lot of negative stuff about the storm. W the newer updates the phone is quite reliable albeit not a powerhouse of a smartphone

Themes will slow your phone down a bunch. The newer OS are pretty nice and quick....I run the official .724.

Don't install too many apps, only ones you really use.

Daily Quickpull is practically neccessary....auto run it in the middle of the night when your sleeping. I don't think it works if the phone is locked.

The built in speaker is great...Really loud. Built in shortcuts to manage connections, and the clock are very convenient. It is a pretty nice phone these days but has a bad rap because the software was pretty terrible when it first came out.

A great free tetris game, better than pay versions (the control scheme is great, this is the best tetris I have played since the old school version that was bundled with the first gameboy)

Finally got my Verizon Storm 9530 to work on AT&T and trying to gt use to itafter an At&t LG. Is there a way to get updtaes for this phone off the aT&T BIS by telling them it is a BB9200, 8700, etc many of which use the same OS on the BIS? Tahnk you.
