seriously i think that the BB hardware is under appreciated. While we complain about "wobbling screens, loose battery covers...."

they complain about

So with iPhones catching on fire and melting things and now exploding, I foresee a new business avenue for Apple.

The defense industry! As a dual-mode grenade, it will come with only two apps on the screen:

The iPhone Thermite Grenade:
A visual timer starts when the app is selected and a stress simulation of multiple apps opening and closing is done on the processor. Eventually the iPhone heats up enough to melt through and fuse the equipment it's placed in / on.

The iPhone Fragmentation Grenade:
Pressing this icon will start a 5 second visual counter and start the iPhone doing whatever it did in this news show. Upon explosion, it will spread an even sphere of glass, plastic, and metal.
