I bought a droid incredible today, I am going to see if the grass is "greener" on the other side. After seeing what the torch has to offer, I think blackberry will match the incredible's specs in 2012, once the myan calender ends. I was sitting patiently with the storm 2, thinking I would get an upgrade in OS and my phone would be on par, but that is a pipe dream. It became obsolete in 1 day. RIM is so behind, it is sickening, I am selling my stock on Monday before it hits $49. This phone does serve a purpose, and it is utilitiarian, but it is not what it was hyped to be. Anyone who thinks otherwise is still holding on. Eat **** RIM.

1) don't complain.... no one forced you to buy the phone...

2) the storm is muck in the first place

I had the Incredible for 24 hours before I returned it and went back to my Storm 2. The thing I missed the most was the colored LED on the front, but there were just still things that Blackberry does better.

Now I have a Droid X.
It is the closest experience to using a Blackberry without actually using one.
It took me two days to get the thing running like my Storm (LED Notifications, email, SMS shortcuts, etc...) and it is a solid phone.
I still miss my Storm 2, but it is silly to go back.

I may wind up on Blackberry again, but RIM has some catching up to do.

I've only been a BB user for little over a year now having gone from a 9630 to my current device a S2. For what its worth my Storm does everything I need it to do less the robotic sound during calls (713). I'm that guy who usually jumps at the next best thing but I've seemed to settle in with this device. Would Os6 been a welcome addition? Sure it would but not having it does not mean I'm totally done with my device. That said, I'd love to see rim and Verizon continue to push Os 5 updates perfecting what they already have.
