How do I Set the "enter" key to a hard return...

...while texting instead of of "send"? Before the latest OS while texting (SMS) the enter key used to work as a hard return but now it sends the text. I want to decide if I want a hard return there or send. Where do I change that back? I can't find it anywhere!

Hit the aA (caps key) and then return you will have to do it everytime you want a hard return though
