| | Goodbye Storm. Goodbye Crackberry.com
I've had the Storm since the day it came out. Got sick of being jealous of all my friends' iPhones. I love Verizon and really don't like at&t, but I'm biting the bullet and switching. I just bought the iPhone 3Gs and sold my unlocked Storm for $385 on ebay.
So basically I get the iPhone for free plus some cash in my pocket. I've enjoyed the journey and had fun participating in the forums these last few months, but time to move on to a better device. To all you sticking with the Storm, I hope they finally get it figured out.
Once Verizon has the iPhone I will probably switch back!

I recently bought a MacBook when I needed a new laptop, and maybe that played a part in getting the iPhone. I was always a PC guy, but man the MacBook is seriously sweet. Apple def has their crap together.

iPhone is sweet, but I'm sticking with macStormie for the time being. At least until Rogers stops gouging iPhone users with usorious plans~

I don't know how to respond to you right now. Its like part of me can understand where your coming from, then the other part of me is like another fly caught in apples web. Let me know when you start feeling restricted..btw I find frequent upgrades amusing.

Let me know when you start feeling restricted..btw I find frequent upgrades amusing. | Ya I see your point as well, and I used to sing that song to. I was always anti-Apple and enjoyed having to "work" on my devices...ie reinstalling Windows, upgrading my Storm, tinkering around with settings, but I don't know anymore.
I would just rather spend my time enjoying the things in my life instead of being frustrated and wasting hours trying to make them work the way I want.
Some would say Apple is restrictive, and I agree to a point, but from the other angle, that restrictiveness certainly simplifies things and more often than not, they just work and work well.

Like I said I have been with the Storm since day one so I will be extra critical of the iPhone.
One thing though, I already think at&t's customer service sucks compared to Verizon. I've had to deal with them a couple times, and maybe it's because I'm a new customer or whatever, but Verizon always made me feel like they were privileged to have my business...at&t is kinda like "eh, whatever"

If you really had to spend that much time messing with your storm then you were probably the cause for all the issues it was having. No need to constantly mess with things. Sounds like another case of USER ERROR and so hes switching and blaming the storm, tisk tisk. |
