FYI: I switched to Storm2 9550
For more than a year I used use Bold 9000 and was very happy with it. The Bold and the Curve before that were the most "productive' devices I ever owned (60% Business / 40% Private)
Under the Slogan "Boys need toys", I switched over to the Storm2 9550. Man, this is one awesome device! However, for business use it's less productive. It's not missing functionality, but you're faster in multi-tasking with the Bold or the Curve.
Switching from qwerty to touch-screen will require some hours of training. After 4 - 5 hours you will type as fast and flawless as on a qwerty. More screen real-estate is a blessing. (Battery life sucks!)
(Uber) Twitter, Facebook, BB messenger, Viigo, Window live messenger and most other text-base applications are just better displayed to the Storm2.
All those apps I had also on my Bold 9000 and all were working great.
If you like toys and switched to the Storm2, you will not be sorry. If multi-tasking is your speed, the Bold might be more convenient for you.
If you have the Bold, you have an fantastic device and their is no real need to switch, but if you like toys, the Storm2 will not be an disappointment.
If I'm forced to rate them with for the sake of picking a winner, I would disappoint you because I would rate them the same overall.
