Farewell to my beloved storm
we both knew this day would come
u see my parents split and i chose my mom
but it is my father whose name comes on the bill of my phone
and today was the day
which started out like any other day
would take a turn for the worse
it started out like any other
i was awakened but the alarm of my storm
i checked my unread emails
then as i tried to place a call
"Welcome to verizon wireless,
you have not reached the wrong number..."
my stormy, was cut off
i knew this day was coming
but i never knew it would be so soon
excitement came over me
the excitement of getting a brand new blackberry
but as the day ended
new phone excitement
turned in to new phone disappointment
as i am left with a dumb phone on a regional carrier
i now have to check my email at home, on my computer *shudder*
no more apps and internet
email and music
video recording and etc.
so untill we meet again
my beloved blackberry
farwell....

Why did you get rid of your BB? Its going to be difficult to get along without it.

That was kind of a d|ck move.

At least you can still go out and get a new one for yourself, right? Thais what I did. A plan with few minutes (since I barely use them) and high texts with the BlackBerry data plan can be just below $100.

Stillborn is right, you can get a data plan with a tiny amount of minutes on it for a little under $100 a month without too much difficulty. And with free mobile-to-mobile between Verizon its prettyreasonable to assume you could stay under whatever limit it sets you for. I did that for a while. Its expensive, but i felt it was worth it for the time I was on it.

His parents split and his dad pays the phone bill. Since he chose mom, his storm died.

it sucks
day two without my berry
and since its my aunty that is now paying for the bill she opted for the small regional carrier because it is cheaper and they have no blackberries so im stuck with a mid range messaging phone that looks like a cheap Chinese clone curve

Do any of you guys know if, since the carrier im on uses Sprint's network, i can get a phone from sprint without a contract, full price, and use it on my carrier?
