Talking Dont be upset with me, I want back in

Ladies and gentleman, I am ashamed to say that I am an Android user, and I miss my storm 1. I had what was referred to on another forum as a "golden storm." I had NO issues with it whatsoever. I wanted to try something different and am extremely disappointed. Will you let me back in Crackberry Nation? Also, in your professional opinion, should i go back to the storm 1 or 2? Have a heart and don't flame me. Your feedback is appreciated.

Welcome back. I prefer a physical keyboard so I can't recommend a device for you, icesteve has and I'm sure other members will chime in.

If you are buying it now out of contract and have to pay full price, pick up an s1.....s2 is much faster for typing people say, but I have no issues with s1 after 5.0 upgrade for my co's storm users.

I agree with purchasing the storm2 because of the memory and wifi and plus the screen is more stable. I also hear that typing is better with the S2 but I also have no problem typing with the first. The only reason I haven't upgraded to the S2 is because I'm waiting to see the S3.

If you don't mind I would like to know why you disliked the android. I also had thoughts of trying that phone and I would like to know what issues if any or why you didn't like the phone.

Welcome back. Like the other people said, it depends on how much you can get the storm 2 for. If the price is right, go for the storm 2. IMO
I also had a storm 1 with no issues at all. I have had the storm 2 for about a month now and IMO it is awesome. The app memory is great and also it is very, very stable. NO leaks at all. Good luck and welcome back.

Go with the S2. I had a very stable S1 running on 5.0 but the S2 blows it away. Much faster, a lot more memory for apps and the wifi is a great feature to have. The typing is much smoother as well.

Welcome back!!

Hey welcome back, remember this site is called crackberry where we all share the same vice.

Now if I was in your shoes and had to choose between the storm 1 or 2, I'd choose the storm 2 in a heart beat.

First it has superior hardware second the storm 1 is at the end of life. I would expect most software updates like webkit will be optimized for storm 2 and on.

Third the memory leak on storm 1 is killing me

This thread made me chuckle. I've had the Storm 1 and 2 and in my opinion the Storm 2 is far better. Depends in your money tho. If you were happy with Storm 1 then you might want to save a little dough and get it. But if you don't mind the money thing. Just get Storm 2. You won't be disappointed.

Thank you all for your support and welcoming me back. The one thing I keep hearing about is typing ease on the s1 and s2. There is none of that on this phone. I tried the droid first and honestly was not impressed. In order to save money, I took it back and got the eris. On both, the typing, speed and accuracy are horrible at best. Too slow, too many mistakes even after multiple screen calibrations and as one poster in this thread said, WAY too many memory leaks. The application world is ok, but it is like an adult shopping at children's store, juvenile aps at best. Email support on this is equally as bad, but anyway someone could try it and love it. Not my cup of tea, I miss my blackberry. Again, thank you all.
