| | Do yourselves a Favor, Stop Complaining and Get a Storm2
I would like to clarify and inform anyone deciding to go to a storm2 from a storm1. Do not even think about it. By all means do it and you will love it. I hate people saying that the S2 is not that much different for the S1 and that making the switch will not notice much of a difference. Well, let me tell you why that's the case..... I assume these people just never use the storm to its full potential. My friend loves his S1. Why? Well he only uses it for email, calender and phone calls. I would too if that's all I use it for. My point is if you intend to use a smart phone the way it was meant to be used, than the S1 just doesn't cut it. Sorry it just doesn't. Been through 8 of them. It's been a long and frustrating experience. But a learning one also. S2 has been the difference between night and day. The reason??(and there are more) Simple: Much more and solid app memory.
So to those who are trying to decide.....should I or shouldn't I? Be all means please do. You don't know what you are missing. The S2 is a fine and promising device that doesn't get the credit it deserves.

The additional memory in the S2 simply delays the inevitable - that it will need to be reset.
Isn't it crazy that an application like Quickpull even ~needed~ to be developed????

I can't afford to buy a new phone at full retail or I would have ditched this train wreck long ago. My contract is up in November so by then who knows what BB, Google, or maybe... Dare I hope... An iPhone for Verizon may be available. Either way I guarantee it won't be a Storm 2 - 3 or anything Storm again.

I love my Storm and can't imagine using another phone, at least at this point. I will definitely go w/Storm 2 or whatever is out there that's "Stormy" when it's time to get a new phone/contract but that's a year and a half away right now so who knows what will be available then.

Seems like everyone is skeptical about touchscreens at first. A storm 2 might make a good first device you on the touchscreen front, as it allows you to highliggt before selecting.

The complaints I have about the S1 also applies to the S2 BECAUSE IT'S SOFTWARE COMPLAINTS. Guess what? The S2 uses the same software as the S1, so the same bugs are in that iteration.
I think a lot of you are misunderstanding where a lot of the complaints come from from users on the forums. The OS is the problem and no matter what hardware you put it on, it'll continue to be a problem. Even the 9630 continues to have OS issues and bugs that should have been fixed prior to launch since the issues are pretty obvious if they had cared to look.

Just one look at the S1 forums with all the complaints make the S2 a far more superior smart phone. The phone is more than the OS that runs it.
