Default Customizing your Storm.

Not a question, this is a comment.

I'm sure there are many that read the posts on Crackberry. I have been coming to Crackberry.com for advice and instruction for about ten months. I have wiped my Storm1, upgraded to official OSs and even loaded unofficial OSs. I am currently running .419 which is official for a couple of carriers but not Verizon (my carrier.) Just yesterday I, after much investigation, downloaded a theme. I am currently running BlackBerry Pro v4 RED. I'm sure this is not the absolute most wonderful and perfect theme available but I have been hesitant to load a theme onto my Blackberry Storm. This theme rocks. But, the point is not to sing the praises of this particular theme. If you are hesitant to try new OS options, or try new themes, or even apps that are available, trust the regulars here on Crackberry.com; they will not steer you wrong. If you follow the instructions provided here, you will not likely brick your BB. If I can successfully customize my Storm, you can also. I do not have any background program training. I simply follow the directions provided here. I have never made a mistake loading an operating system (OS) and loading the theme was flawless. If you are interested in customizing your Storm and feel hesitant because you don't want to brick it, don't worry. The instructions provided here work.

This is a little long winded but I'm confident there are newbies out there that can benefit. Just relax and go for it. In other words - Just Do It. (Sorry Nike) You won't be sorry.

Indeed, CrackBerry is great forum. We got a diverse group of people with varying backgrounds from different fields, and while we may have differing opinions, most are willing to help.

Speaking of customization, does anyone know if the storm will be getting the Widgets I heard about, or is that just for bbs with more ram, like open gl.

I purchased my Storm used, and within 30 minutes of owning it, I had loaded 5.0 and a few themes out there, including one that I made myself.

After you do it once, you will do it again. Loading an OS is not that big of a deal.
