    Default Contacting the higher ups of Verizon?

    I've had many problems with my storm and have had 5 replacements...now...I've been told I will be le get a new device which would be a tour they said because I said nothing else compares to the storm other then that...now I've had past experiences where the reps sometimes "forget" to put things like this in their notes. I just want to contact someone higher then thlovely reps on the phone to assure I will get the tour, because I've been hearing conflictng things on here.

    I also have 5 lines on my faimly plan and have been a vzw customer since phones were still in black and green.

    You will get a call from verizon executive relations with in 48 business hours...at least that was my experience.

    Hey man we are in the same boat here. I just contacted Verizon and they offered me a refurbed Curve 8330. I am going to go check it out before I agree. Because I thought at first... wait... it seems like a " cheaper " phone. So I will ask about the Tour when I get in the store. At the end of the day Verizon wants to keep you as a customer. I threatened to leave for the ATT bold. There tune changed real quick. The guy said he put the " notes " into the computer. Hard to forget when the notes are right there in front of you. Hope this helps.

    For all those frustrated and can't get no help. There is a corporate number that handles wireless, home, and dsl. It is one number and you have to tell it which section you want to go through. I have dealt with them many times, with all three and have gotten nothing but GREAT results. Their phone no. is 1-800-483-7988. Just called them this morning about an error on my bill that was not being resolved through customer service. So good luck to all.

    I have had a Blackberry Storm since early December. Since then ive had five replacements, a few because of dust, a 3 because of screen click problems, and 2 because of muffled voice. And one of them even had all three of those problems at once. Now im on number 5 and i have a lot of dust build up under my screen, the keyboard lags a lot, can barley type one word without having problems, and now im having an issue where the phone cant detect my media card(i have multiple so its not just the card). I spoke to a coustomer service rep a few weeks ago before the announcemet of the Tour and they said i cold get a diffrent phone which at the time was a Curve, but i didnt see how a curve equals a Storm therefore i said i would wait until the Tour was released and they said that I would be able to to this. I was informed that this would be noted in my account but i dont believe that it was recorded correctly becasue ive had previous problems with the coustomer service reps not recording my progress( i.e. not calling for call backs and then not having a record of the call at all) From my 7 month experience with the Storm it is a phone that was a good idea, and some people love it but I've had five replacements and it barely functions when i need it to( i.e. I take the battery out 5-6 times a day because it freezes) I am currently running .148 and consult the Crackberry forums for problems i have before I go to VZW because i understand that you are a busy company. I am on a contract with 4 phones (2 BB's and 2 other phones) and 2 of those lines have been active since phones were still in black and green) we are loyal VZW customers and I would hate to have to leave for Sprint to get the Tour, or even ATT for the Bold.

    I also have something to say about your refurb phones:
    Ive received 4 refurbs and it seems like they are just the same phone that i send back, but polished up. Ive gotten some that are scratched but i don't care about that because i just need a phone that works, and the screen on my original was very resistant to scratches but the refurbished ones get scratches very easily..it seems as if you just peel off a layer of the screen protector and send it back out.

    I would like to make sure that I will be able to get a Blackberry Tour because it is the only phone on VZW that is compareabal to the Storm, and i think that after all the stress, problems and time ive spent on the phone with coustomer service and my loyalty to VZW my problems should be handled. I also realize that these phones are not free and that is why I understand if you can not do this for me, but like i said, i would hate to leave Verizon.

    I know this phone was not made by you, but you made the choice to release it without through testing and therefore the problems that it has are your problems as well."

    You need to learn how to treat the phone, if it is not responding well (typing or otherwise) then it is probably because of third party apps, mem leak of some kind, or you just leaving apps open. I have never seen a Storm lag for no reason. It's always user generated. As for dust, it's not a rugged phone, keep it in a sandwich bag if you're around a lot of dust. I carried a Storm for 5 monrhs and I was always able overcome the exact same problems.

    im sorry but i guarantee you its not user error. Dust-i dont take it anywhere dusty, school, home, and when i go out, nowhere dusty.. and there is no way in h*ll that im gonna carry my phone in a sandwich bag!!
    Lag-you must not have seen many storms, i have 44mb of mem and i know what im doing when it comes to this phone, so again not user error. Ive had 5 storms over 7 months, the phone sucks bottom line.

    i find it hard to believe you are on 5 storms and there is no user error or you arent just a picky person. I on on my first and the 3 others that have them at work are on their first storms also and quite happy.

    Just to let you guys know i jsut got off the phone with Alexis from Verizon after leaving that complaint on planetfeedback and she told me that she didnt have information on the tour but if i called her back when the tour was released that she would make sure that i wold get a new tour.

    It was funny because she acted like she had no idea that the tour was even announced even though i told her that it was announced on VZW, Sprint, and Tellus, but oh well i was assured a new tour.
