Blackberry Novice trying to stay in love with my Storm
I received a Blackberry storm from the company I work with I am on Verizon...
can I have some insights on how best to appraoch staying in love with this phone...
I love to text , pic up my email and use twitter facebook apps, besides talk, that is what I mostly do...
I do my best to treat my battery well, to sync often and today I have to find out if verizon is open to change out my phone for the second time
it keeps giving me that little square with the second hand icon..when ever I type or go from one thing to another...when I took out the battery to reboot, which I really have to do more than once a week, it stopped turning on....
I am willing to press in but are some things you folks do when using your phone that has helped to keep glitches to a minimun??
I was reading some other posts that said to upgrade to .151 so I will have that done when they give me the new phone...
I have no intention of getting another phone becuase this one is paid for by my company and so is the service contract but I want to enjoy it I dont want to feel like if I didnt have to be concious of the cost I wouldnt have one...
I did see the Tour, thought of switching but...can't really imagine it...screen seems so small...I just actually like my Storm and want to use it as a matter of fact I am looking forward to the new Storm....this is a great site and I enjoyed reading many of the posts of the new Storm
any advice you experts have I would appreciate..thanks so much

Upgrade to .151 for sure. Very stable and the apps that you mentioned works on the this OS, and download quick pull and schedule it to reset your phone at a certain time.
Read up on the links above they will help. Enjoy the phone.

if it's a work provided device i would suggest asking if they'll allow you to change the software before doing anything
FWIW, i'm on .148 and i have none of the issues you're experiencing...there is a thread titled "resolved memory leak" which has lots of suggestions, most other threads reference it and recap the info contained...
if you can't figure it out, just send me an email, i'll help with as much as i can
