My friend's cousin working for Verizon, so he dropped the word, that IPhone coming to Verizon in April '10. Personally don't care much, but might be relief for some unhappy storm users.

Unless your friend's cousin is the CEO of Verizon, he doesn't know that the iPhone is coming to Verizon. And if it does it probably won't be April...it will probably come in the form of a new 4G phone from Apple later in the year.

Really though, once all the hot new Android phones come out the iPhone as we know it will pretty much become irrelevant.

So no, I don't see the iPhone as we know it coming to VZW in April. I don't see them wasting that much money engineering and launching a CDMA phone that will be obsolete in 6-9 months.
