I know, Seattle isn't that snowy, but before I moved here I spent entire winters in the isht. Anyway, I don't really "wash" mine. I go to the self service wash places (when it's warm enough so that the water doesn't freeze as soon as it hits the car...lol!) and just pressure wash the big crap off. I also get underneath and stuff too so that all the caked on salt and sand gets blasted. At least in my case it just didn't make sense to do a complete wash because after 10 feet of driving again it would be caked with isht. Plus I don't like using the bristle brushes on it from the car wash places. Considering all the "natural" pinstriping I have from 4 wheeling you'd think that wouldn't matter, but it does. It's OK for me to scratch it, but not a stupid brush...lol!
As for the interior, I have two sets of floor mats. I have the nice carpet ones for the nicer part of the year and then a set of deep groved rubber mats (proper fitted ones of course!) for the yucky days. I CAN'T begin to tell you how great the rubber mats are for winter! I do the feet tapping thing too, but still manage to drag isht in, so the rubbers really help with that.
