Default To Those Fallen Officers.

Our hearts are with you and your families.

And all I can really say is that Im disappointed and disgusted in the U.S. honestly this useless peice of sh*t was supposed to go away for a 95-year prison sentence and gets off are you ... kidding me.

He had five felony convictions in Arkansas and at least eight felony charges in Washington one including a charge of second-degree rape of a child, and he was just realsed from prison a week ago even though he was still a wanted fugitive and on top of that he told a bunch of his friends he was going to do it and they didnt care, they didnt think anything of it (thank god those people who helped him are going to go away for a long time, let them rot) now thats ..., usually I look at all of the convictions in the U.S. and some of the the most minor and ... charges get people in so much trouble and then you see somthing like this and all you can think is what went wrong ?

...
Im sorry if my language offends anyone but honestly I am that angry over this, and this deffinetly could have been avoided.

Don't be sorry for your language...Clemmons was a POS that was freed by broken system. The events in recent weeks have rocked this area and while it won't bring the officer's lives back, everyone s relieved this loser is dead and his buds will be put away. At least now there is some closure and friends and family can start the healing process. I will probably write more later from the computer, but for now I will just say that I am very proud and supportive of our local police forces. They have a tough job protecting us and deserve our utmost respect.

Ohh come on Jeff I blocked everything out I think everyone on this site is old enough to read a curse word!!!

Edit: And to chuck yes all the officers involved and all officers in general are amazing people for what they do, I think a very big thank-you is owed and alot of respect needs to be given to them.

Edit 2: I just noticed, jeff where ever you are *glare* you got rid of an entire paragraph what the h*ll man
It was a good paragraph.

I say its time to go old school. Sure lock up dope dealers and thiefs for 50 years and let them out after 22 months but kill violent offenders in a timely matter. The system is soo soft on everyone and treats them all the same. Non violent offenders are one thing but something has to change and someone has to be held accountable for animals that are set free and kill innocent people. My thoughts and I'm not going to say I'm sorry. The only way to stop a rabid animal is to put it down.

Ask the DA's why they always Lesson the chargers, or why they agree to a plea, or correct me please if I am wrong Huckabee who pardoned this piece of crap. There is no respect for Law Enforcement and yes there are bad apples but few. My Dad, Brother, and Husband put their lives on the line everyday for us, and otheres who don't even deserve it. Going to stop now before I get banned but i'm so sad I don't even know how to feel anymore

I don't think there is anything you could say about our broken system and the criminals that would get you banned.

You're right, there are some bad apples in law enforcement. I doubt anyone would argue that. Bad apples can be found anywhere. I think most of us though are well aware that most of them are good people doing a thankless, difficult, and dangerous job. I can honestly say I have never met a police officer in WA State who I felt was a "bad guy." I don't even dislike the ones who have pulled me over for speeding (because I was guilty and I admit it)!

Anyway, none of this is about that...this is about a system that failed and allowed a dangerous criminal to roam free. Huckabee certainly played a large roll in it, but it wasn't ALL his doing. It's time we stood up and started questioning more what our elected officials are doing and then voting appropriately.

Seems like things have just been going crazy lately in general. We had the armored guard murdered at the Wal-Mart, then the officer who was gunned down in South Seattle, and now this. And those are only the more notable things. A couple weeks ago there was a woman stabbed just a couple blocks from my house while she was walking home from work. A few days ago a guy got out to change his tire about a block from our house and someone hit him over the head, threatened him with a knife, and then robbed him. Oh yeah, and we had an arsonist in the neighborhood too...a guy who was (you guessed it) put behind bars before and then released. And I'm in what is generally considered one of the nicer neighborhoods in Seattle! It's getting to the point where I'm thinking I'm going to renew my CWP and start carrying again.

Anyway, I could never thank your Dad, Brother, husband, or any other officer enough for what they do and what they put up with. It takes a strong person to carry a badge!

Hey, what's XOC? LOL! I haven't hung out there in forever. For some reason after the whole board crash thing it never seemed the same. Well that and I started hanging out here more...lol! Maybe I should stop in and visit once in awhile!

I actually live in Lakewood, less than 5 miles from where it happened, and yeah the system definatly needs some fixing. Glad that clemmons got took down in Seattle, and I agree that anyone who helped the fool evade the police is as bad as he is.
Some people are just disgusting.

To be honest, while I'm glad our Seattle guy got him, I was kind of hoping it would be a Lakewood officer that would have that opportunity. But, what's important is that this guy won't be killing anyone else, and hopefully none of his family or friends will be either!
