I love it, and I miss my iphone like CRAZY, but until my company allows us to receive email on something other than blackberry I'm stuck. I can't justify having two phones, and the blackberry works better for the things I actually do 90% of the time.

I think this is old news. This happened a few weeks ago. The OS6 pictures leaked the same week. Heck they already raided the gizmodo editor's house and all.

Wow! really??? You probably didn't get an opinion because of the other many threads on this same subject/link. Did you even see the date on the article you linked to? It's more than a week old.

This is a site for cell phone lovers, but a site this big needs to be organized. So an article about an iPhone has nothing to do with the Storm, especially one that's old. I know this is the Off Topic forum, but posting this in the iPhone forum would have been better. This is a great site, you just need to learn how to use it.

Well its news to me and when I tried to search it I honestly didnt come up with anything.
Other than that all I can say is that this site still feels empty (at least in the storm 9500/9530 section) it looks like everyone has moved on (except for the contests and giveaways, everyone still seems to be here for them ), because usually a thread like this one even though its already been discussed would still have a bunch of people posting on it, and at the same time Ive just been seeing a lot of people lately in the storm 9500/9530 section asking for help and their thread will sit there for days without an answer.

Alot of people have moved on, bro. There is a very specific reason the 9530 forum had so much traffic. The Storm at one time was touted as the "latest and greatest" and tons of people bought them to get the first touchscreen BlackBerry. When they got it home, they realized there was something wrong and turned to help, ala CrackBerry.

Since then, the Storms been updated to the point where it's functioning properly and alot of the kinks have been worked out. The Storm 2 has come out and there are now alot of other viable alternatives to BlackBerry.

This forum used to be extremely entertaining. The other forums used to make fun of us and call us crazy. We were like the /b/tards of CrackBerry, and it was alot of fun. And much like /b/, people have moved on.

Also, you were pretty late with the thread. It had already made the David Letterman Top 10 list by the time you posted.

Or they went down to their Verizon (the largest Carrier in the US) store looking for the closest thing to an iPhone and were told that the STORM was it... and at the time there was not much at Verizon in the touchscreen market.

SOME of the kinks have been worked out.... NOT all of them. Unfortunately the design of the STORM was flawed... that is why the S2 came out so quickly and is really the S1 with a few minor upgrades.

And the S1 (and their crappy browser) is the reason that RIM is going to loose a big chuck of market share over this coming year. That same "TON of People" that were suckered into buying the S1 are going to avoid a RIM product like the plague when their contracts expire. Never mind they have not been able to keep up with the ANDROID devices...
