Default Plumbers Or Plumbing Experts Inside, HELP!!!

I have this faucet at home and this is where the water flows from:

My problem is that there is rusty water leaking out from here:
The water that actually comes out of the faucet is perfect.
Any help you guys could give me is appreciated.
Thanks,

Mike

Well I have to say I dont think I could help I mean the only thing I could suggest is that the seal might be cracked (where you turn the water on (your arrow)) but who knows, you have to tell me where you bought that thing though ? that is the coolest faucet Ive ever seen.

Right here

I don't think it is because I actually replaced the faucet after trying to repair a few things on it. I figured it was toast and bought a new one and it is still doing it.

Thanks.
Maybe you gotta take the pressure down it could just be coming out with to much causing it to leak through.

Why would it be rusty though?

Im not to sure why it would be rusty how long have you had it cause if you've had it for awhile well thats self explanatory but if you've only had it for a few weeks or so Im going to say: well first the water shouldnt be coming out of the tap so obviously somthing within the tap mechanism shouldnt be exposed to water constantly and thats what would be causing the rust, but Im not a plumber.
And also for the price your paying for those faucets they shouldnt be rusting lol.

Do you use well water? If so do you have a water softener? Look inside of your reservoir of your toilet. If there is a rusty ring, or orangeish color to the tank where the water sits, it is your water. Well water is common to contain iron that will cause rust. If there is no rust, I would clean the faucet. The lever that sticks out of the faucet appears to be attached with a ring. TURN YOUR WATER OFF FIRST! There should be a valve under your cabinet, but the water needs to be off. I assume that ring would turn off counter clockwise. When you get the ring off the lever would have a ball on the end letting the water flow when it is moved. If there is an "O"ring in there make sure it isn't cut or cracked. I would clean it with a good cleaner like CLR or something that specifically removes rust. Let it soak for a while, and assemble it after it has been cleaned.

Nope, no well water here but I do get the rusty rings in the toilets ( I would say that's partially cause they don't get used very often. I live alone and the only one that gets used all the time is the one in my master bath. The others only get used when I have company over, which isn't that often)

You can still have high iron in your system even though you have public water. The iron shouldn't be too high, but it can still happen. I would get a test kit from Home Depot or Lowes, and test your water. If you are having a high iron count, then I would contact your water supplier. If you have a high iron count, your neighbors should have this problem too. Let me know.
