I want to, so bad. But the nearest theater playing is 73 miles away.. And I haven't found an alternative source of watching it yet..

hmmm... IMO not as good as I was expecting... not gonnna lie.. I did get startled a few times, fine maybe more than a few times... but in the end.. it was predictable and very slow ... I think the last 20 minutes were the best...

...and I had no problems sleeping after watching it either... a bunch of people I know were hella scared to even sleep!!!

It actually wasn't really scary so much as just full of tension that would build up, and even though it was always at night and you knew it would get you, it still got you. I mean, it was a very simple, and well put together movie, and I think I read they only spent 10 grand on it. I do think though that they were very creative with the actual ways that it showed itself.. kinda caught me off guard seeing her get dragged, you know?

and a friend I went with had trouble sleeping last night lol.
I thought it was a very good movie.

I totally get what you mean… it gave me some good jumps!! And IMO the best part of the entire movie was seeing her get dragged… I think it was good and worth seeing at the theater… but I guess I was expecting a lot! Everyone who saw it before me had me excited about how good it was… and like I said it just went too slow… but truth be told I would watch it again just to see if I missed something!

Has no one else seen it?

I had a bet with this girl that I wouldn't jump, so I can't say I jumped, but it did startle at points, can't lie about that lol. I'd like to see it again... my 15 yr old cousin is who originally told me about it, and he wants to go so I'll probably get to see it again (needs someone 18 or whatever the age is)... and I think the slowness is what made it really build up folr the night scenes because you're watching it kinda tense and that's on top of the tension the characters are definitely feeling. The only thing that worries me about seeing it again is being bored since I know how everything goes. lol

LOL... so you didn't jump cause of a bet? what would have happened if you lost the bet? do share!! :P
I think I'm just desensitized to scary stuff... bores me ... hahaha! I think if you saw it again tho, because you already know it's coming you can appreciate the suspense and the scenes... and all the buttle things going on... that's the only reason I'll probably would ever watch it again...

Ok movie, IF you can make it past the first BORING 45 MINS. To me, moving doors and squeeky noises are not scary. I wasn't scared or shocked at all. The dragging part was freaky but not like you hold back in your seat. The end, I predicted it. I knew it. Very ok movie for an 11k project. Profits will be huge in such a low budget movie. The good thing of this movie is that it plays with your head in a very everyday manner. There's always some type of noise inside our houses. So, for easily scared people, that might be scary. I'm NOT trying to protray myself as a macho man here, but I slept like a baby. Not a horror movie. Just a suspense movie. If I could do it over, I'd save my $11 and do something else. lol

I payed five bucks... And there wasn't much of a bet...if I lost I'd just have to hear about it forever... And the moving doors aren't there to scare you, but to show the increasing amount of activity. Like a point of reference...

I watched the movie. I liked it. It wasn't the scariest movie of all time though! Its still a tie for me with the shining and the exorcist. I thought it was funny at times! I told my gf that I would have kicked out that girl as soon as I found out she had a demon following her! It had its spooky moments. I couldn't stop laughing when that chick got pulled out of bed and dragged down the hall! I would recommend it for the early shows.

i saw it with the wife last night.. and it was a pretty alright movie for what it was.. you cant go in expecting all kinds of CGI and blood and gore and what not.. it wasnt really scary either.. just disturbing because of how it was filmed and how they made it seem believable..
