I'd just like to tell every single person on earth who keeps ranting about how UTTERLY DISPICABLE the level is is modern warfare 2 where you walk into an airport and massacre every innocent civilian in sigh and commit a mindless act of terrorism to SHUT UP.

You people are ridiculous.
First off, I'd like to take a page from the company "Running With Scissors" who developed the "Postal" franchise of PC games. Almost if not worse (or better) than GTA, and with a tongue-in-cheek name for their company, they basically give a disclaimer about video games as being "a way to be able to create and experience all the things in life that AREN'T supposed to happen in real life, but we all think about and wonder what it would be like, but being concious gives us the knowledge that these things are bad."
Video games are the exact outlet for things like driving cars recklesy through crowded cities at top speeds, shooting guns, bombs explosions death killing drugs sex violence hate all the things that shouldn't go on in real life..you can't deny you've never thought about these things, it is human nature. Its in our minds. Were born with it. Good and bad, right and wrong, the hero and the bad guy. We know good things, and those should be in real life, but we also know the bad things, so we need a way to release our angers and frustrations and innermost wretched feelings, and videogames are the perfect outlet. Because like they say, you keep things bottled up inside, and one day you'll get a real life massacre in an airport.
And for the "unnecessary" part, yeah, maybe it is unnecessary.
SO WHAT.
First off, you can't tell me how to make my video game. If I want it in there, and I think it'll sell, you have no say in what goes into my product, if people don't like it, they won't buy it.
The game is already rated M for mature, which restricts anyone underage to purchase it. Secondly, if you're buying a kid a game that obviously isn't rated for their age, what does that say about you? BESIDES THERE ARE TWO, TWO MULTIPLE DISCLAIMERS WARNING YOU ABOUT THE SCENES OF VIOLENCE AND OFFERINGS TO SKIP THE LEVEL COMPLETELY. IF THAT'S NOT ENOUGH, WHAT IS?
Its like saying, get rid of all the weapons in the world and never create any more. ****, a weapon, of any kind shape and form, whether gun knife missle grenade whatever is an machine designed amd created for one specific purpose. To kill. To hurt. It is its only job. And it knows no different. It is a tool used to KILL AND ONLY KILL. that's the real problem! Why don't you jusr go and protest outside Heckler & Koch or Colt or Smith & Wesson!!? I don't see anybody doing that do I?!
There have been plenty of movies music and other video games tv shoes before this that have been far worse. Get over it.
And anyways, the 75 inch plasma tv, the gas hogging cadillac escalade, the lamborghini sitting in a kentucky driveway, the $2.1 million dollar beach mansion, $4500 diamond cufflinks, $750 prada shoes, gold plated jewel encrusted cell phones....
Who the **** are you to talk about what's unnecessary.
