If you aren't getting power, check the PSU or even the board. If the drives are bad, stick them in the freezer for a day or so, then reinstall them and power the PC up. Depending on the issue, sometimes freezing it will allow it to spin back up. Don't ask me how, it just works sometimes. And you can put it in a plastic bag, but the drives are sealed so you don't have to worry about moisture getting inside it. I've done it a couple of times with about a 50% success ratio, without bags btw.
