GMail SPAM or lack thereof recently.

Has anyone else noticed a big drop in SPAM in your GMail mailboxes as of the last few weeks? Google had bought out Postini as an AntiSpam solution last year and I think they might have finally implemented their filtering technologies to the GMail side of things.

What say you?

Actually, I've been getting more. I usually get 2-8 a day, but a couple days ago I got like 20 or 30 spam messages in less than a day. Today I've gotten about 8 so far...

I don't remember *ever* getting spam in my gmail inbox. It all goes right to my spam box, and I have never found a false positive either.

Haven't noticed, I have about 3-4 in my spam folder since midnight, seems on average over the last few days ive been getting about 10-20/day.

Considerable decrease in my spam. I get a handful every few days instead of the hundreds a few day I got before.

I never get any spam in my inbox. Really, I don't remember it ever happening. It all goes to my spam folder and I have never found a false-positive in there. Gmail anti-spam is 100% effective for me.

I said mailbox, not inbox. I said mailbox because the SPAM folder IS in the mailbox.

one thing i thought of after i read BSG's message, with my yahoo email i frequently get non-spam sent to the spam folder. that almost never happens on gmail. actually, i can't remember it ever happening. i'm in the habit of checking my spam folder, having used yahoo for so long. now i still do, even though i don't need to. kind of like how i check my memory on my eris, even though it doesn't have a memory leak issue
