Default Can a 9530 be unlocked to work on prepaid?

I was wondering if I could get my 9530 unlocked to work on the new Straight Talk pre paid service? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I am not loving life without my BB.

I did some searching and it seems that tracphone varies from area to area on their carrier, so depending on where you live, they might use gsm or cdma.

If they use gsm, you should be able to with a sim card. But if they use cdma, you're probably out luck without some sort of major hack (good luck) or 3rd party app.

If it uses a sim card then a simple unlock would work and you'd be ok for calling and texting (not 100% sure about texting) everything else would require service books and thus you'd be SOL.

As for switching to another CDMA provider, i see some ads online for people offering to flash phones to MetroPCS for example so i know it can be done but its very rare and flashing it to Sprint is out of the question since your phone has to be in their database to use it.

Default Blackberry unlocking: unlock Blackberry Storm

Blackberry Storm 9530 can be unlocked.
You can unlock Blackberry Storm using regular unlock code to remove the sim lock, after the storm is unlocked you can use it with as Pre-paid device for calls and text.
