Default When can I trade a defective Storm1 for Storm2?

I am on my second Storm 1 and it needs to be replaced because nobody can understand a thing I say unless I am on headphones or speaker. I am just wondering if there is a way to work out an exchange for a Storm 2 instead of a Storm 1? My carrier is Verizon.

Definitely not a straight up trade. If you complain enough and to the right people they may offer you 2 year upgrade pricing.

Just remember to use the words "Cancel Verizon", and "Going to AT&T"

That usually gets them to pay attention.

They will pay attention for sure, but like I said, they'll offer you two year upgrade pricing, most likely. That is a good deal, which a lot of people don't realize. If you bought your first storm subsidized, and then offer you a new one at two year pricing, then they are eating the cost of the first phone, to keep you happy.

A lot of my friends complained about that with their storm, but I've had no issues. I did have to replace mine though but it was because I dropped it in the toilet and water got under the screen - but my water indicators didn't get wet so I lucked out and it was covered by warranty because they couldn't figure out why the screen was discolored and the sound wasn't working haha
