water damaged storm

yesterday i spilled a glass of tea on my week old storm, tried to take it to verizon store to get a replacement, because the watermark on the battery was ok but they found out it had water damage. now i have to file insurance. seeing it's only a week old do you think if i called cs that they might replace it seeing as i have only had it one week? everything works but the led and camera

Dropped mine in toilet. Got a replacement for 50 bucks a day later.
