Default So....about that Nexus One***

So I got a question....whos thinks that nexus one from google will be good...or bad? I checked out alot of the things from their sites its seems promising but is it really can we really depend on this kind of phone?
Are there any of you who will switch to this phone?
What does the Nexus one have that blackberry doesnt or viseversa what does a blackberry offer that the nexus dont?

Just basically trying to get some thoughts from the forums whos got some opinions?

It is a droid on steroid, with all the hype surrounding it i thought it will be the next best thing. But once it was released the only thing that impressed me was the animated wallpapers.

I deffinately want to be able to send and recieve email sms mms and im like my BB cause to say the truth the BB storm is awsome for these features i love it but the apps kinda suck to some extent and you cant load too many. You also cant use flash or adobe.I want to be able to get a better online experience you know not to mention the pic and vid quality for s1 and s2 are terrible....im coming from an LG DARE and its vid and pic quailty was far superior than alot of BBs ive used and played with

RIM really needs to step it up at least in some aspects.BBs are business phones but there are a few thigns that...for a business phone...it just doesnt do too well.At least make the browser better you know,we can all live without good cameras I assume

I haven't actually touched one yet, but based on what I've seen I think it's the hottest phone available right now. Unfortunately it's on a network that is completely unusable for me. The Moto Droid didn't do it for me, but I think the Nexus One will be pretty hot when it hits VZW. That said, there are more ANdroid phones coming, including more from HTC with the Snapdragon processor, so it's possible by the time the N1 gets to Verizon there may be something better.

As far as differences between it and BB, I think anything Android is going to blow BB out of the water. The only real advantage BB has is email and even that has it's limitations, un, like how I often only get half emails...lol! Oh, and I am still a SurePress fan...

The N1's web browser will destroy the BB, Android will be the first to get Flash support, the processing power is far beyond, it has more memory, the display is far superior...you could go on.

Until Andriod makes a secure BUSINESS phone nothing is going to take down RIM really. The consumer market yes but that is only a small slice of RIMs blackberry pie

Yeah, that is RIMS attitude pretty much. But they sure are running TV ads geared toward the consumer market. I see a conflict between their ads and their attitude. Plus I am quite sure the competition realizes RIMs strong point is BES. Somehow I don't see that stronghold lasting too much longer. Then what?

The nexus one's hardware is light years ahead of anything RIM can offer, or will offer in the next year.

As far as business solutions, It'll do a large majority of the tasks a BES enabled blackberry can do. Not all of them, but active sync has its own benefits too.

Businesses have been using Winmo phones on active sync forever. And active sync isn't as expensive to run. (big reason so many companies are stuck using RIM. They've dumped who knows how much $ into the system and now they're too deep to get away from it)
