Question Screen totally unresponsive!!!!

I have a Blackberry Storm 9350 and yesterday my screen quit working completely! It still lights up and looks normal but when you try touch anything it doesnt highlight and the click is unresponsive as well?!?! I cleaned under the screen, loosened the screws, and updated my phone and still no results! Any other suggestions or thoughts about it.

You guys being newbies, Did you remove the battery then reinstall. It's called a battery pull and it does fix many of the Storm problems.

The note above is true. But, the problem is.caused by low memory. If you do not feel like learning how the phone works, a quick tip to gain memory: while in ur browser, Options > cache options ... Delete ur history and then hit all three buttons to clear ur memory. Then do a battery pull.

The Storm 1 has 128 MB of RAM to execute apps. Unfortunately, that is where the apps are stored as well. If an app keeps data, that too is stored in ur RAM. Eventually, memory is exhausted and the phone freezes.

If U are running ur phone as it came out of the box, search the forums "how to free up memory" to learn all the tricks.
