The note above is true. But, the problem is.caused by low memory. If you do not feel like learning how the phone works, a quick tip to gain memory: while in ur browser, Options > cache options ... Delete ur history and then hit all three buttons to clear ur memory. Then do a battery pull.
The Storm 1 has 128 MB of RAM to execute apps. Unfortunately, that is where the apps are stored as well. If an app keeps data, that too is stored in ur RAM. Eventually, memory is exhausted and the phone freezes.
If U are running ur phone as it came out of the box, search the forums "how to free up memory" to learn all the tricks.
