Reload Software: 507 - "nuked" walkthrough not working please help!

Hi guys,
I'm sure by now you are probably sick of this whole "my blackberry's been nuked" mumbo-jumbo and the simple advice is to just use one of the thousands of walkthrough guides on the internet to solve the problem however i have not found my specific problem anywhere, hence where you guys can (hopefully) help.

Firstly my bb storm is permenantly on a white screen with what appears to be a black cassette and a no entry sign striking it out. Then underneath in small prink it reads "Reload Software: 507".
I looked up how to fix this problem by using the loader .exe and clicking usb pin unknown etc (you will know what i mean if you've had to do it) and this all seemed to go fine.
It was only when i got onto the application page when there was the difference with everybody elses nuked bb. The page should display the list of apps you want re-installed however mine is empty and instead reads " The Blackberry desktop software does not have blackberry device software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator".

This is where i'm stuck.
Anybody got any ideas what i should do from here?
Sorry to be asking the same question as a lot of other people but i've spent ages trying to sort it out and have just become stupidly frustrated at how i cannot resolve the problem.

Are you sure you have the BlackBerry Operating system software for your device installed on the computer? If you are sure is the software from your carrier if not you will need to delete the Vendor.xml file.

That should be the only reason it's telling you there is no software.

I had this and what I did was delete everything BB on pc. Dm and device software. Reinstall dm then dl your OS of choice and it should reinstall.
