Red line through camera lens and on pictures

A red line has shown up on my camera that is also present on all pictures that I take with my storm. The line does not show up on any other screen. Tech at Verizon said he didn't know how to fix and suggested this site. Anyone know if this can be fixed? Simple things like taking the battery out dont work. Security wipe (also suggested by Verizon) didn't fix it either. I think the camera is just broken

is it a line like there's a row or column in the sensor array that is stuck red, or a line like there's a red hair in the lens?

Hi Melissa,

i got the same problem as u once got my own 16GB. Unfortunately i'm not in U.S. and i just asked my friend to bring me that.

How you fix your issue? hardware problem or just bug that can fix? please help and let me know your solution.
